Bio
I'm a photographer and filmmaker born and raised in the Virginia suburbs just outside of Washington D.C. Graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology in 2004 with an Advertising Photography degree. While in Rochester, I also learned how to attach a sled to a car with a tow hook when it snowed for entertainment and I worked as a volunteer firefighter (all I wanted to really do was drive the fire trucks).
I specialize in on-location shoots around the world and travel on assignment over 100k miles a year. I have a trusty Pitbull mix rescue dog named Emma and a deep love for anything with an engine.
Started a website called NotABully.org which shares the stories of inspiring bully breed dogs that have faced great challenges, yet still serve our communities. Was featured in a National Geographic Wild TV special (see the Behind The Scenes section of this site).
Co-founded a decade old branded-content production company, 8112 Studios, several years back. Additionally, co-founded eXpanded eXistence (eXeX), an augmented reality software company.
I was named one of Washington D.C.'s most influential people under 40 by Washington Life Magazine, and named one of D.C.'s top 25 creatives of 2010. Mom was really proud. I've also been profiled in a variety of photography and entertainment magazines for my lighting-style, body of work, and professionalism. Blah, blah, blah. Let's just get to the fun stuff.
